John Attig is a retired history teacher who has been presenting films and other programs for OFAM the past few years. He now is director of the Nobel Peace Laureate Monument Project which seeks to construct a monument in Eugene that will honor Americans who have won the Nobel Peace Prize and educate students and others about their peacemaking deeds.
