Berlin on Music and Dance

Jaqua Concert Hall, The Shedd Institute
Broadway Pearl District
Matinee Concerts Sponsor
Throughout his career, Berlin wrote songs about music and dance – the current dance craze or musical style, the role of music and dance in life, the nature of music itself. Dick Hyman and his all-star combo are joined by Maude Maggart, Bill Hulings and Ian Whitcomb in an afternoon concert that will highlight some of his best -- "Alexander’s Ragtime Band", "I Love A Piano", "It Only Happens When I Dance With You", "Let Me Sing And I'm Happy", "Let's Face The Music And Dance" -- and many great numbers that aren't as well known but we know you'll love, including "Dance Of The Grizzly Bear" and "Everybody Step"!
